I became interested in jewelry making several years ago when I received a magnetic bracelet as a gift. So many of my friends and co-workers inquired about my unique and beautiful "conversation piece" bracelet, that I ended up ordering more for them from the same lady. Several transactions later, I decided I'd had enough of this long distance ordering and began researching the how-tos of jewelry-making myself! I researched to find the best material and began designing my own unique and different pieces, first starting with bracelets and later advancing to anklets, earrings and necklaces. I couldn't make them fast enough!
I discovered a great online saleslady (now good friend) who ordered her authentic magnetic hematite beads from overseas and who also sold the heavy gauge clasps. My biggest joy in making them was finding beautiful stones to design with, add that special sparkle, and be as beautiful as they were therapeutic.
In addition to the jewelry, I will send a small pamphlet explaining the benefits of the magnetic hematite. As a nurse, I realize using one's own doctor for medical advice is the best answer for our aches and pains so I recommend seeking medical treatment first and foremost. I also understand the value many have achieved using holistic methods and have received many positive responses of relief from customers. As for myself, they sure help my arthritic hands when clasping especially, since I no longer need my husband to put them on for me...they just grab together and VOILA!!!!
*Although these bracelets may be worn at all times, and are attached using the strongest of heavy elastic cording,they could break if not careful. I have known some to last for years and for the price, that can't be beat! Because they are so inexpensive, please be aware that I am NOT responsible for breakage so take care not to wear in water or snag them and they should last a long time!
For proper size, please measure your wrist or ankle using a string and then measure that. The string should be comfortable and drape slightly being careful to not have it tight. I like mine to dangle like any bracelet I wear. Sizes come full and half sizes, starting at size six and ending at 8 1/2..Custom orders requiring more beads will be priced accordingly.
